The Mindset of Marketing Agencies

It’s an unfortunate truth that many agencies only offer solutions that they can deliver. Agencies’ ideas are limited to both their technical discipline as well as their capacity to implement within that discipline

It’s not too hard to imagine that if you go to a digital agency they will tell you that you need is a new website, app or something shiny and new like a virtual reality experience! A sales promotion agency will tell you that you need an on-pack promotion. And, Guess what? A design agency will say you need a rebrand. Funny enough an ad agency will tell you that more awareness is needed and it’s the content they create that will help you achieve this. Even fully integrated agencies have their own agenda not to mention time and talent limitations.

Of course, what they offer could be the right solution if it’s the right time but it could also be simply that you just have the wrong product being sold at the wrong price in the wrong packaging sold in the wrong place being targeted to the wrong people!

Another sorry truth is that many agencies tell you what they think you want to hear rather than what you need!

You’re going to invest in your new product and brand, however, we don’t want you wasting money on the wrong plan.
